Private peer circles for executives in the same seat Find your circle
Chief executives in a confidential peer conversation

CEO vertical

The full weight of the CEO seat is known only to the one sitting in it.

A private circle of chief executives leading companies of comparable size who face the same level of decisions and accountability

Executive First Circle · Private by design

Who belongs here

Sitting chief executives with final authority across strategy, capital and leadership.

What leaders bring into the room

The circle helps a chief executive separate signal from noise, challenge assumptions and test the consequences before committing the enterprise.

Peers compare how they create alignment when directors, owners, employees and customers are pulling the business in different directions.

Confidential conversation gives the leader space to think clearly, name the personal pressure and return with a decision they can own.

The working agenda

The conversations that belong to this seat.

Each conversation starts with a current decision, draws on relevant peer experience and ends with a practical next move.

Enterprise strategy

Focus and prioritize initiatives so leadership attention and company effort are directed toward the greatest return for the business. Members compare the choices competing for time and capital, identify what matters now and clarify what the organization should stop doing.

Board dynamics

Bring consequential decisions to peers who understand the full context, test the assumptions and sharpen the plan before it reaches the board. The circle examines how to communicate clearly, build confidence and work through competing expectations without losing sight of the enterprise.

Capital and ownership

Compare approaches to invested capital, ownership choices, acquisitions and liquidity with leaders who have already faced those moments. Conversations can explore portfolio exposure, the consequences of a transaction and what changes for the leader after a major ownership event.

Executive team design

Take a hard look at structure, clarify accountability and determine whether the right leaders are sitting in the right seats. Members examine where the chief executive is carrying work that belongs elsewhere and what the team needs in order to operate with greater confidence.

Succession and legacy

Examine transition paths that protect enterprise value, culture, purpose and people when leadership or ownership changes. Peers share experience with succession, exits and long range preparation so the transition supports what the leader has spent years building.

Personal resilience

Address the whole leader beyond the enterprise because health, family, mindset and business performance do not operate separately. The circle provides room for candid conversations about pressure, energy and personal responsibility that rarely fit inside a board meeting.

How meetings run

Bring the real decision.

Each monthly meeting begins with a confidential check in and a review of commitments from the previous circle. A chief executive then brings the enterprise decision carrying the greatest consequence, along with the board, ownership, team and personal context behind it. The facilitator keeps the discussion focused while peers ask direct questions and share relevant experience from decisions they have already lived through. The presenting leader closes by stating the decision to make, the next action to take and what the circle will hold them accountable for when the group meets again.

Beyond the boardroom

Time together that does not feel like another meeting.

Relationships deepen when members step outside the usual business setting. Smaller gatherings combine conversation, shared interests and time to recharge with people who understand the responsibility of the CEO seat.
